Hare Kṛṣṇa Uttamasloka prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!
Reading Chapter 2 has been very pleasurable, and eye opening for me. Thank you!
In the second chapter there was a brief mention of the varieties of rati:
*Samartha-rati *Sadharana-rati *Samanjasa-rati
I thought Kubja was in the mood of kāma and not sadharani rati. Also the definition of Samartha-rati is not precisely easy to understand: "by mixing it with rati, which has attained a special status, it becomes one with it.".
Are they going to be explained further in the book, or are we meant to study them separately?
Hare Kṛṣṇa! Ulises

Yes, bhava, rati and prema are discussed in detail in chapter 6, so no need for separate study until after that. Better to wait and you can ask after reading more details.
