I appreciated the focus back to the svarupa-siddhi in Chapter 5. But I am wondering if the term "second spiritual body" is confusing. According to the discussion of the svarupa-siddhi, isn't the svarupa-siddhi a stage of realization of the spiritual body?
I was just feeling the terms second spiritual body and third spiritual body were a bit confusing.

They are not confusing if you read that section carefully.
When one attains the stage of bhava, Krsna awards one their desired spiritual identity, which is called svarupa siddhi, ie: the perfection of one's svarupa - to attain a relationship with Krsna in Vraja lila.
But that isn't our final stage. We still have to take birth in bhauma-lila and grow as a child to teenage. THAT spiritual body is called vastu-siddhi by Bhaktivinoda Thakura.
So the siddha-deha is the first stage, svarupa-siddhi at the stage of bhava is the second stage and taking birth in bhauma-lila is the third and complete spiritual manifestation of our identity and form and mature prema.
So it's just delineating those three stages.
