"It is explained in Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu how one can still fall down from the stage of bhava and destroy or diminish one’s bhava and possibly even one’s eternal rasa! " Pg103
Is this destroying/diminishing of ones eternal rasa temporary or permanent? When the effects of aparadha are removed do we always resume our eternal rasa or can we eternally spoil/downgrade our rasa?

Very good question. I wondered the same thing, but I couldn't find any other references to resolve that question one way or the other. Depending on the severity of the offense, it appears that it may actually be permanent, since no mention is made of that being changed after rectification of the offense.

And yet Krsna says that "On this path there is no loss or diminution..."
It seems that offenses can be overcome- but it takes a huge amount of contrition! From HNC:
If anyone offends a sadhu in a moment of delusion and madness, he must fall at the sadhu's feet and repent bitterly; weeping and full of contrition, he must beg forgiveness. He should declare himself a fallen wretch in need of a Vaisnava's grace. A sadhu is very merciful; his heart will soften and he will embrace the offender, thus exonerating him from his offenses.
From Sadhu-Ninda essay: Sins affect the gross and subtle material bodies, whereas an aparadha specifically affects the jiva’s quest to establish himself in his constitutional position as a pure spirit soul, causing him to fall from his path. Therefore, those who wish to perform loving worship of the Supreme Lord (bhagavad-bhajana) must diligently protect themselves from committing aparadha.
Looks like there is no loss or diminution ON the path- but one can fall from it.
