Dear Uttamasloka prabhu,
Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Śrī Guru and Gaurāṅga!
While reading Kṛṣṇa's pastimes and meditating on them I usually have more questions than answers. As a simple example, if Kṛṣṇa is milking the cows: how many cows does He milk? And what kind of container is he using? Does he tie the cows to a post?
So, instead of being able to meditate on the pastimes I end up having more and more questions without the ability to answer them. How can we solve this problem? Just recently I asked on Facebook: "What is the color of Kṛṣṇa's eyes", and even that question seems very hard to answer! Some people said blue, brown, golden... What is the color of Kṛṣṇa's eyes?

in the lila books it describes that Krsna milks some of the cows and then the cowherd boys milk the rest. But as in all of the Vraja lilas, Krsna often expands Himself to personally interact with each devotee, so He never denies anyone's desires to be close and personal with Him. I believe his milk bucket is made of gold and possibly studded with jewels. I'll have to check that. And He uses a rope to secure their legs while milking them. Talk to Radha and Krsna and ask Them to reveal the answers to these questions if you can't get answers from your trusted associates. And read more about the lila because each acarya reveals different details in their lila books. According to Govinda-lilamrita, Krsna's eyes are black and Radha's eyes are blue. There is also an outline of red around the perimeter of Krsna's eyes.

Thank you prabhu! There are several lila books that I haven't read, so this I will definitely focus on reading them. Lots of nectar!
Eventually, one develops a clear idea of all the main personalities, and their interactions. And also one develops a clear idea of one's own spiritual body. Then, the third obvious step is: how will they interact? Since we are unique, there is no way those things can be found in sastra. So, then again comes the mind and the risk of "speculation". What is your recommended approach in this scenario?

Yes, lots of amazing details are revealed in those books. In his commentary to Ujjvala-nīlamaṇi, Viśvanātha Cakravartī writes:
The independent activities of the Lord however, are for the benefit of the devotee. To show mercy to the devotees the Lord performs such pastimes. A person who has taken a human body, on hearing these pastimes, becomes completely dedicated to the Lord. The pastimes have a power like that of jewels, mantras or herbs so that they produce complete dedication to the Lord. They do not create sinful effects.
…Thus, just from hearing constantly and becoming addicted to any topics of Kṛṣṇa, one attains perfection, and if one hears topics of the rāsa-līlā one attains even higher perfection. One should always hear and become addicted to the five chapters on rāsa-līlā. UN, 3.27, commentary
Keep in mind that the siddha-deha isn't just our spiritual 'body' - it is our complete identity, which includes a suitable body.
The acaryas have given us examples to follow in that regard. They have expressed their deepest desires to serve and interact with Radha and Krsna in Their lila in books like Rupa Gosvami's, Utkalika-vallari, Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami's, Vilapa-kusumanjali, Visvanatha Cakravarti's, Sankalpa-kalpadrumah, etc. These books are samples of their manasi-seva meditations and we can use them as templates for our own meditations. They define the acceptable parameters for expressing our personal desires, while at the same time acknowledging our fallen condition. We should follow them in principle and substitute our personal aspirations.

Now I can't do without it. ''The result of Kṛṣṇa consciousness is that one becomes increasingly enlightened, and he enjoys life with a thrill, not only for some time, but at every moment.''
