Here is additional conclusive and irrefutable proof that one can aspire to be a sadhana-siddha priya-sakhi. From Radha-krsna-ganoddesa-dipika (Srila Narayana Maharaja's translation):
The sakhis in the mandala are divided into two groups according to their prema: sama (equal) and asama (unequal). RKGD, 233
The priya-sakhis are in the category of sama-prema (equal love). They are further divided into two groups: the eternally perfected (nitya-siddhas), and those who have attained perfection by the practice of devotion (bhakti-siddha). RKGD, 234

Hare Krishna 🙏 Plz accept by humble Obbesiences.
This topic seems Quiet Confusing because we are finding multiple opinions in this regard from various personalities.
Uttamshloka Prabhu has however done a great Analysis. At first while reading I was little sceptical towards some of his points but after careful reading it seems Quiet clear. Hence I beg Forgiveness from uttamshloka Prabhu if while reading it I might have commited any offenses on your lotus feet being sceptical earlier.
Although this Controversy seems Quiet long and still we are finding various opinions, I guess with time and Realisations these points will become more and more clear. But I am very thankful to uttamshloka Prabhu in this regard.
